Despite the ESPN+ camera angle displaying the most empty part of the stands by the diving well, the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center is still nearly packed at the 2025 men’s NCAA championships, with around 80-85% of the seating being filled up.
South grandstand, or the right side of the aquatic center (relative to positioning behind the diving blocks) is packed to the brim. Meanwhile, the North grandstand is mostly full at the center, with empty seats by the diving well and the warmup pool.
Tv angle is misleading in terms of how full it is. I’d say it’s 80-85% full, which means over 2,000 spectators.
Just this one awkward gap behind Tennessee. A team block should be there but it’s like they didn’t show up for finals? pic.twitter.com/Fmx795smC2

Meanwhile, this is the view on ESPN:
Arguably the biggest cheering contingent at the competition is California, which has fan sections in both the South and North grandstand. There are also noticeable cheering sections for Texas, Indiana and Arizona State.
The Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center has total a capacity of 2,500. In 2012, the last time men’s NCAAs was hosted there, there was a total attendance of 8,194, or an average of 2,049 per session.
